U.S. Sen. John McCain is blasting his challenger J.D. Hayworth, saying he’s mischaracterized his record to score political points in the wake of the murder of a Douglas rancher over the weekend.

Former Congressman Hayworth is blasting back, meanwhile, saying McCain’s record on immigration is out of step with what Arizona wants.

Speaking on a Phoenix broadcast station about the case of Robert Krentz, who was believed to have been shot and killed by an illegal immigrant, Hayworth said he has long advocated for a military presence on the border while McCain worked on an “amnesty billâ€

McCain’s campaign spokesman Brian Rogers sent out a release calling Hayworth’s comments “despicable and offensive.â€

Funny. My local news channel 9 in LA had a great piece on the rancher's death.

They also had McAmnesty calling for the National Guard on the border.

The Obama administration does not want to help Arizona. I have always said that Democrats do not care about the American people. They just care about illegal aliens. That is why this November we have to clean house and elect people who will listen to the American people. The Federal government has to help states. In particular Arizona. We have to stop illegal immigration. We have to deport all illegal aliens. This is a sovereign nation and we cannot accept the illegal alien situation. Let's deport all illegals and elect our congresspersons wisely (no Democrats because they help illegals; and no McCains).

You mean undocumented Democrats, don't you? I don't always watch Glenn Beck and I don't always agree with him, but the past week he addressed Obama's voting blocks and he was absolutely right - felons who currently cannot vote, blacks, union members and illegals - all likely to vote Dem. This man must be stopped by voting for people that actually listen to their constituents and don't act as puppets for the party.
