That doesn't work as has been proven over the last couple decades. I support the "zero tolerance" policy because just releasing them across the border does not work. All they do is find another access point and try again. They continue trying until successful. Our border is not secure. The new "zero tolerance" policy calls for the processing and prosecuting of all illegals. Prosecution for the non-reentries is times served and immediate deportation. Now they are on record as being prosecuted for illegal entry. Next time they do it, they'll go to prison. That is what one calls a deterrent.

Yes I did see that but fail to see the relevance to to that particular comment because the total population of Mexico and Central America is only 311 million.

Not quite true! Border Patrol catches many illegal aliens at the border and release them to go back across the border. I presume they go voluntarily. But they are not processed! They can take them to the Port Of Entry, give them the choice to go across the border or be jailed!

Unfortunately, they are overwhelming us. Fingerprint them and send them home. Some will get the message. But if we take them into custody, we have to pay to feed an house them.

How many first time trespassers can we accomodate? We will turn this country into a prison camp! We need to declare war and militarize the border. I don't think that is prohibited by Posse Comitatus as they would not be deputies enforcing local laws!
