Out-of-state American students pay the same tuition as foreign students. They don't want them because of the money, they want them because our colleges and universities are controlled by Dimwit Globalist Wannabees who no longer give a damn about Americans, who want to destroy our own economy, deprive another generation of citizens their opportunities, and give away our own research and innovations so they can be used to bring US down. State legislatures need to pay attention to what their state universities are doing in this regard and stop it in its tracks. It's nothing but a scheme like Open Borders, in fact the whole scam is called Open Doors!

November 11, 2013—The 2013 Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange, released today, finds the number of international students at colleges and universities in the United States increased by seven percent to a record high of 819,644 students in the 2012/13 academic year, while U.S. students studying abroad increased by three percent to an all-time high of more than 283,000.

In 2012/13, 55,000 more international students enrolled in U.S. higher education compared to 2011/12, Ni. This marks the seventh consecutive year that Open Doors reported expansion in the total number of international students in U.S. higher education. There are now 40 percent more international students studying at U.S. colleges and universities than a decade ago, and the rate of increase has risen steadily for the past three years. International students’ spending in all 50 states contributed approximately $24 billion to the U.S. economy.

So no, the foreign student visa program is not "contributing" one dime to the US economy, it merely provides the technical and academic educations for these countries and all the others to use against US in our "global" competition to survive. It's not a competition we can win either because it's not their coffers and innovations that are drained by these policies, it's ours.

For there to be 819.000 foreign students in the US with a growing number of them from China and the Middle East is one of the most alarming statistics out there.
