The U.S. Coast Guard on Saturday found large amounts of marijuana in an ocean cave in San Diego and arrested two alleged smugglers.

The incident occurred near Point Loma. According to a statement, the Coast Guard received a call from a concerned resident who noticed a small boat beached around the Sunset Cliffs area.

Officials moved in and arrested two men. They also recovered 1,400 pounds of marijuana.

They later found a cave where the alleged smugglers were offloading the drugs. Lifeguards helped the Coast Guard move the pot from the caves onto a Coast Guard vessel.
