114 illegal immigrants discovered inside semi trucks within hours

Depending on where they are from and how much they paid, it was a minimum of a half million dollar load for the cartels. IMO

It happened at the Laredo, Texas checkpoint.

Two semi trucks smuggling a total of 114 illegal immigrants were uncovered at the Laredo checkpoint on Sunday.

The incident occurred on September 23rd and 24th at 9:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. in Laredo, Texas.

According to Fox San Antonio, at around 9:30 p.m., agents were investigating the immigration status of one of the passengers in a semi truck when they decided to inspect the truck. Agents then discovered 65 undocumented immigrants inside the poorly ventilated trailer in temperatures of 90 degrees. All were in good health but were promptly removed and taken into custody.

Then, at around 2:30 a.m. a semi truck was directed to secondary inspection during which agents found 49 illegal immigrants inside the refrigerated trailer, which was 59 degrees at the time of the discovery. Those illegal immigrants were also found to be in good health and taken into custody.

The identities and current status of the truck drivers involved have not been released.

    Implement Judy's Plan B!

    Judy's Plan B:

Tell all these countries, if your citizens don't stop entering our country illegally, then your country will have no aid from or trade with the United States.

Very simple. Very cheap. Very effective. Very fast. Costs US nothing. You can give them notice, do it hard and all, or graduated and phased. You can exempt food and energy so as not to impact nutrition, heat and transportation. You can customize it per country based on proximity to US and numbers of illegal aliens coming in as well as the number already inside our country. You can do it anyway you want, the key is JUST DO IT!! NOW!!

Americans are frustrated and fed up, we want this stopped and illegal aliens deported. We need relief and we need it now. Economic sanctions are a legitimate, legal and readily available tool to our Executive Branch to protect our national security and economic well-being. JUST DO IT.

I'm going to repeat the response I just gave you on another thread where you were advocating your unworkable and unrealistic plan:

"No, no, no. What you're actually sanctioning is an influx of even more illegal immigrants and asylum claimants. The governing bodies in the problem countries will not hold their people prisoner because they want the billions of dollars in remittances to continue.

Furthermore, it's unrealistic to think they could stop their citizens from leaving even if the wanted to. So, what you're advocating is to make the living conditions in these countries even more miserable than they already are, which will only force more of them to come to the United States. Nothing about your plan is a logical and it's not a solution to our illegal immigration problem.

What we must do is secure our own borders from intrusion, not rely on other countries to do what we refuse to do ourselves! As the strongest nation in the world, we should be able to secure our own nation from the masses of illegal immigrants pouring in! Wake up Congress and do your job!"

These smugglers wouldn't be attempting to use these trucks unless they've been able to do it with some regularity in the past. Makes one wonder how many trucks hauling their illegal cargo are just waved through the checkpoints.

Drive the truck back OVER the border...dump them out.

Keep the truck...sell it at auction to pay for the WALL.

I saw a video on You Tube yesterday, it was 9 years old. I didn't have time to watch, but it was about how the cartels bribe the Border Control. Truckerss know exactly what hours their guy work, and that is when they come through. I need to go back and watch. With so many getting through, is that still going on?

Yep, I recall hearing of payoffs happening in the past.

Yesterday, after Brandon Judd was in video endorsing McCaskill, I knew something was not right with Border Control and did a little searching.

Just a week or two ago, I posted an article about a Border Control arrested---he was a serial killer.

About 9 out of 10 articles i read, it is all about saving the lives of the invaders, and never mentions anything about saving the country, and these are not the words of the reporters, they are quotes from Border Control.

I posted a video from the Border Control page, and it was all about saving the lives of the invaders, not one word about the the harm they do.

Something is just not right, but I discontinued my search too disgusted to go any deeper.

Perhaps there needs to be a house cleaning at Border Control and sort the wheat from the chaff.

There have been numerous media articles over the years on crooked CBP officers and BP agents getting caught with their fingers in the cookie jar and other things.
