ROMA - Border Patrol agents caught another 18th Street gang member trying to cross the border illegally.

Agents say the Salvadoran man was walking through Roma Friday, when he was caught. The agency detained at least 53 members from the 18th Street gang at the end August.

Border Patrol says the number of these particular gang members crossing into the United States has jumped by more than 100 percent.
