Two inmates, possibly linked to the Sinaloa drug cartel, were killed inside Cereso Prison on Saturday - one day after being arrested on charges of allegedly shooting a Juárez police captain.
Those killings were part of a string of gangland-style executions that occurred in Juárez and through the Mexican border region last weekend.

One victim was only 6 years old.

Jesús Adrián RodrÃ*guez Hernández, 23, and Miguel Márquez Estrada, also 23, were found stabbed to death near Cell Nos. 1 and 4 at Cereso Prison around 6:25 p.m. Saturday, Chihuahua state prosecutors said.

Authorities said both men suffered multiple stab wounds on their bodies. No arrests have been made.

According to Mexican Federal Police, both victims are possibly linked to Sinaloa drug cartel.

According to Mexican Federal Police, those suspects are linked to the "La LÃ*nea" drug cartel, allegedly headed by JoaquÃ*n "El Chapo" Guzmán.

Sunday afternoon, two men were shot to death inside a business at
Manuel Gómez MorÃ*n and Ortiz Rubio Street within the Satélite neighborhood, Chihuahua state prosecutors said.

One victim, an unidentified male in his mid-30s, was shot several times, along with Ã

Either someone wanted to keep their mouth shut or the Captain that they executed worked for a rival gang and the gang got their revenge. Than again, maybe the cartel executed the prisoners because they executed the police captain without authorization. That's my guess.
