    Maricopa police arrested two men this week in connection with 130 pounds of marijuana found in the trunk of a vehicle, according to a statement released Thursday.

    An officer made a traffic stop Monday on a vehicle containing Juillermo Sandoval, 34, and Raymon Tapia, 34, both Mexican nationals, near Highway 347 and Farrell Road. The officer learned Sandoval was driving without a license, so the vehicle would need to be towed.

    That's when the officer discovered seven bales of marijuana in the trunk, the release said. The marijuana has an estimated street value of $92,000.

    Sandoval and Tapia were booked into Pinal County jail on suspicion of multiple felony drug charges.
