Two more members of a Tucson home invasion crew are heading to federal prison.

U.S. District Court Judge Raner Collins sentenced 29-year-old Adalberto Sonoqui to 15 years and 38-year-old Manuel Urrea to 12 1/2 years. The men were associates of crew leader Carlos Diaz. He was sentenced in March for drug trafficking and arms possession.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated Diaz and determined he was interested in houses that contained large amounts of marijuana.

Undercover Tucson police arrested Diaz and seven co-defendants as they prepared for a home invasion in January 2009.

Prosecutors say all eight defendants were charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense. Urea and Sonoqui were sentenced on Friday.
