Falfurrias Agents Rescue Two Women

Falfurrias, Texas. — On Saturday, U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Falfurrias Border Patrol Station rescued two women after they placed a call to the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office requesting assistance.

The caller stated that they were lost and in dire need of aid. The women had separated from a group of illegal aliens trekking through the brush three days prior. The call originated from an unspecified location within a local ranch.

The general area of were the women were located was identified and agents from the Falfurrias Border Patrol Station along with, CBP Air and Marine and Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol Search, Trauma and Rescue Team (BORSTAR) were deployed.


By utilizing their tracking skills, and with the assistance from CBP Air and Marine and BORSTAR, agents located the two women. Both were in advanced states of dehydration and were provided immediate assistance by the agents. One woman was transported to a medical facility in Kingsville, Texas, where she was treated and released. Both women were identified as nationals of Mexico illegally in the United States and will be returned to their country of origin.
