    21-year-old shot, killed

    HOUMA — A 21-year-old was gunned down early Saturday morning at his Houma trailer, but police have no suspects or witnesses and haven’t pinpointed a motive in the fatal shooting. Blake Bonvillain, the son of a convicted double murderer, was shot in the chest at his mobile home on Coach Court.

    He was shot about 3 a.m. and lived long enough to go to a neighbor’s house in search of help, police said.

    Bonvillain made it to Fielders Court, a street away from his home, and banged on a front door, said Houma Police detective Travis Theriot. The people inside didn’t speak English and wouldn’t open the door, Theriot said.
