    I tried to post the following over on the USA TODAY site. It wouldn't take the post or at least it isn't showing up. I did post a couple of shorter ones so this one may be too long. There wasn't an error message that I saw. Since I took the time to write it, I thought that I may as well do something with it and post it here.
    ================================================== ======

    There is nothing wrong or immoral with a nation or society wanting to preserve its culture, language, heritage, and national cohesiveness; wanting to protect its environment and preserve its resources from the ravages of overpopulation; wanting to assure decent wages and an acceptable standard of living for its workers and citizens. That is why all countries have immigration laws and most countries enforce them. Usually, a people would be willing to fight and go to war to protect these things if necessary rather than being duped and bullied by political correctness into celebrating their demise. Historically and traditionally any moral preference would be given to those trying to preserve what they and their ancestors created; not those trying to take it away by overwhelming or any other method. We should be ashamed of ourselves for letting so much slip away. We are not helping the Hispanics or anybody else with this massive out-of-control immigration as they never have to face and correct the source of their problems in their place of origin but rather just transfer it here and all we end up doing in the end is combining it all to become the worst of all possible places -- something worse than what they wanted to get away from. A little tough love would go much further in creating those "better lives" than enabling destructive behavior. One of the reasons the U.S. is still a relatively attractive place to come to is that we voluntarily limited our own population growth especially during 1960s thru the mid 1980s and many of us continue to do that today (causing those demographic shifts). We could have had a high birth rate and created our own mess, but because we didn't it's absolutely absurd to think we are obligated to attempt to absorb all the messes from every other place. Which, in reality, we can't possibly succeed in doing anyway.

    There are those who advocate open borders, i.e. we have to take everybody. But, their arguments typically consist of nothing more than silly inaccurate platitudes, some threats (even death once in a while), quite a bit of historical fabrication, and, of course, considerable negative sounding name calling; but, little fact and even less logic. One might note that at least one of the larger open-border groups cares about nothing but their own race, first and foremost. Then there are the politicians, usually the Democrats, but not always. These politicians, well the Democrats, are in reality saying to the illegal aliens that we will take from the native Americans (natives of the country, not continent), give it to you, and in return you give us wealth and power via your votes so that we may rule as we see fit. I expect that the politicians are far less motivated by compassion for illegal aliens than they are motivated by personal greed as they flush our country and environment into the sewer. There was a time, not too long ago, that we in this country were intellectually free and honest enough that we sought the truth and looked to reality in order to determine ideology and national policy. We have become a bunch of ideologically indoctrinated fools believing that reality will bend to fit ideology. It won't! We are being even more naive and in more denial about immigration than we ever were when we were throwing big money and big houses at everybody and never considering the consequences. The problems we face today are absolutely nothing compared to what is coming.

    My teenage daughter performed with her dance company for an elementary school today. All the kids from the school were seated in the gym and there is no question that the majority of these young kids were Hispanic. When I walked out into the hall, a parent, chattering in Spanish to her younger children in tow, had arrived at the school to pick up another child. It didn't even look like an elementary school in the USA.

    LATINO ONLY SCHOOLS

    This comment was on the USA TODAY Online site. I found all of the schools and posted them below the comment.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    In 2005, $7.9 million was stolen from the American taxpayers and given out to Latino-only charter schools in the form of U.S. Department of Education grants. The following is a list of a few of those schools:

    -La Academia Semillas del Pueblo (Los Angeles)

    -Atzlan Academy (Tucson, AZ)

    -Mexicayotl Academy (Nogales, AZ)

    -The Dolores Huerta Prepatory High School (Pueblo, CO)

    -Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School (St. Paul, MN)

    These schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the reconquest of the American Southwest, ethnic cleansing and the establishment of the mythical Atzlan, and even Aztec math!...Again, all taught on your dime.

    " Latinos now make up 40 percent of those sentenced in federal courts, even though they are only about 13 percent of the adult population. They accounted for one-third of federal prison inmates in 2007."
