25 Straight Minutes Of People Crossing The US Border Through Arizona Ranch

Arizona rancher John Chilton’s 50,000-acre spread along the U.S.-Mexico border is allegedly ground zero for human smugglers, drug cartel members and illegal immigrants, and he has videos showing trespassers sneaking through his property.

A fifth-generation cattleman, the 79-year-old Chilton has long warned the government about the dangers of leaving lengthy stretches of the southwest border secured by nothing more than a barbed wire fence. To prove his point, he set up surveillance cameras throughout his property to document the comings and goings of trespassers from south of the border.

Chilton shared hours of video footage with Daily Caller News Foundation reporters, who are in Arizona to document life and crime in the southwest borderlands. Tim Foley, the founder of Arizona Border Recon, also shared his group’s surveillance footage with TheDCNF.

The surveillance videos, which are mostly from 2018 but also date back to 2016, show an unrelenting stream of alleged cartel scouts, drug mules and human smugglers — known as coyotes — using secret trails to work their way into the interior of the state. Many of the trespassers tote long guns and sport military-style camouflage, posing a threat Chilton knows from firsthand experience.

A U.S. Border Patrol agent was shot by smugglers in a remote section of Chilton’s ranch in June, according to The Washington Times. It was the latest in a long line of violent incidents that prove border security is not a priority for the government, according to Chilton, who is a prominent supporter of President Donald Trump’s efforts to build a border wall.

Disgusting.

Foreign invasion. Why does this continue? No reasons are acceptable. Our government is aiding and abetting illegal immigration. The deaths of American citizens by illegal aliens begins with unsecured borders and failure to enforce immigration laws.

The Trump administration must stop this now. They cannot totally blame the failures now on the past administrations. They are in charge. Tens of thousands of illegal aliens cross each month, among them those whose aim is to lie, steal, and if necessary, kill, destroy.

There may be a death soon that gains media attention that will be tied back to the Trump administration and its failure to secure the borders and enforce immigration laws. There will be a newcomer illegal alien crime, a MS 13 Gang murder by someone who crossed the border after President Trump took office. We know drug cartels operate both sides of the border regularly.

An Arizona rancher has set up surveillance cameras on his property to film the number of immigrants, drug mules and human smugglers who he claims regularly use his property as a gateway to the United States.

In a 25-minute video obtained by the Daily Caller, Chilton's cameras show a steady stream of people, including some dressed in camouflage and brandishing guns, trespassing on his ranch.

The rancher said most of the surveillance videos were filmed this year, but some date back to 2016.


Chilton, who is a fifth-generation Arizona cattleman, is an outspoken Arizona backer of President Donald Trump's efforts to secure the US-Mexico border.
He said he has long pushed the government to have more than a barbed-wire fence along the border.


Chilton said he set up the surveillance cameras to prove his point about the dangers of trespassers crossing over onto his property.

The remote area is known for drug and migrant smuggling.


A US Border Patrol agent was wounded on Chilton's property back in June when he was shot while canvassing the area.


Chilton said at the time the agent was struck in the leg and the hand, but several bullets also struck his protective vest.


'Without it, he probably would not be with us today,' Chilton told the Associated Press.


The rancher said his property is separated from Mexico by a four-strand wire fence.


'We have drug runners coming through our ranch and this has become a very dangerous situation,' Chilton said.
