Activists asking "Where is Sheriff Joe "

Activists asking "Where is Sheriff Joe?"
    June 27th, 2008 @ 5:09pm
    by Bob McClay/KTAR

It's day two of Sheriff Joe Arpaio's crime suppression efforts in Mesa and pro-immigrant rights protesters are wondering where the sheriff is.

The protesters don't know where the sheriff's command vehicle is, but they're looking for it.

So Mos America's (We Are America) Salvador Reza says search teams have already found it several times.

"For example, yesterday he was in back of a Fry's - hiding behind the back of the Fry's. When we discovered him, he moved to another place," says Reza.

"Today I got another call that he already moved two times. So he has a trailer that moves him from side to side and stays there like half an hour and then moves him to another place."

Reza says he has over 40 people roaming the streets and videotaping traffic stops by Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies.

Those tapes will be reviewed by attorneys.

I am certain Joe is shaking .

Can this idiot be arrested for inciting unrest? obstructing justice? ambushing a law officer?

Is he planning an ambush or setting Sheriff Joe up? Why else would you have people driving around trying to get pulled over and arrested? What, he can't get publicity on his own?

Law officers often hide to catch lawbreakers, that's nothing new. So what's Reza's game? To expose what an idiot he is?

LOL! What are they going to videotape, a police officer asking someone for their drivers license, in which the driver hands the police officer a mexican matricular card!

How dare they disrespect our Law Officers in such a brazen way.I think it would fit under obstruction of justice.

They have gone toooo far this time and there will be fall out and they have only themselves to blame.

Gascon is to blame for this 3 ring circus and it will come back to bite him in the behind.

They are behaving as though this were Mexico.

Let us pray that in the United States this will not be tolerated and that they will be charged with something and soon.

You have to wonder.....would President Bush ever hear about something like this? I bet that he would and that he is hearing about it because it is definitely outside of the norm according to U.S. standards and laws.

This should make any president not only concerned, but willing to set a precedent on this type of corrupt behavior having the all too similar characteristics of what the good law enforcement officers in Mexico face and now to see it occurring in our country.

This seems very wrong to me, and I would think it would seem wrong to just about every American citizen.

Very disturbing. Very UnAmerica. Very much needing action on the part of our law enforcement.

How about interfering with a law enforcement officer in the performance of his official duties?

Everyone brings up an excellent point!

Why is it that when someone is videotaping an officer an behalf of illegals they seem to be given free reign. This despite they have 40 of their goons following officers around, videotaping their every move.

Yet however, if an American citizen is videotaping an officer as he initiates a stop against suspected illegal invaders, they are told to move along or they will be arrested for interfering with an officer while performing his duties.

Don't believe it, ask OC Angel about that one!!!
