Congressmen from Pennsylvania and Georgia visited the US-Mexico border near Douglas Sunday.

U.S. Rep. John Barrow of Georgia says the visit was intended to get out of Washington and learn about border issues.

Reps. Jason Altmire and Tim Holden of Pennsylvania were the other lawmakers on the tour.

Cochise County rancher Warner Glenn tells KOLD-TV the lawmakers need to go back to Washington and figure out a way to stop illegal immigrants and drug traffickers from crossing through.

Glenn said the border crossers damage his property and cost him money.

The lawmakers also visited the Douglas port of entry and border patrol station, meeting up with officials from the City of Douglas.
