Yesterday, outside of City Hall, the April 7 Coalition for the Complete Rights of Immigrants, headed by Juan José Gutiérrez, called for the community in general to attend a third march on May 1st which will be in the city.
"We are formaly inviting the community to support the fight for immigration reform by taking to the streets", said Gutiérrez.
Since last month, Multi-Ethnic Immigrant Workers Organization Network (MIWON) and the March 25 Coalition announced its respective mobilizations for May 1 in which they called it the "March of Unity", since various marches will begin a different point but will join in the intersection of Temper and Broadway streets, in the center of the city, where there will be a rally.
Those two marches are planned to start at 2:00 in the afternoon, one will start at MacArthur Park and another will start at the corner of Broadway and Olympic.
