44 migrants found; police search for more

A string of human-smuggling busts continued with more migrants found recently in El Paso.

On Monday night, police were searching for a group of possible undocumented immigrants at Skyline and Neptune streets in the Northeast.

On Saturday, federal agents found 44 immigrants from Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia, including a pregnant woman, in a Dallas-bound trailer on Horizon Boulevard and Interstate 10.

Truck driver Juan Burciaga, 28, of Raymondville, Texas, was arrested, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said.
