RAEFORD, N.C. -- Five men were arrested in an immigration raid in Hoke County over the weekend.

Investigators said the raid stemmed from an anonymous tip that people were making fake driver's licenses and Social Security cards for illegal immigrants.

According to authorities, the men used a machine like one used in DMV offices to make the fake cards. They said the men charged $1,200 for a pack of four IDs.

Authorities also said that some of the Social Security numbers on the cards were real. Authorities said they heard from people whose identities may have been stolen.

"We have people on the West Coast call us saying their licenses have been suspended or revoked or saying they have been arrested for various reasons and they will call us. They said they have never been to Raeford," said Raeford Police Chief Kevin Locklear.

The five men, who are from Mexico, face 270 felony charges. Authorities said the men will be deported to Mexico.
