The Arizona Republic .
Five suspected illegal immigrants, including four juveniles, were found hiding in bushes in the desert early Thursday morning after apparently refusing to stop at a traffic stop and driving from authorities, officials said.
A Department of Public Safety patrol car tried to stop the red Chevrolet pickup truck on Interstate 10 near Guadalupe Road about 5 a.m., Arizona Department of Public Safety, Robert Bailey said. The truck exited at Baseline Road and got back on Interstate 10, this time heading westbound. The patrol car followed.
The pickup truck exited at Arizona 347 and drove into the desert by Riggs Road.
The people in the truck apparently fled and were found hiding in nearby bushes.
Four of the five located are juveniles, and all are males. Investigators believe the driver and an additional passenger are still outstanding. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was heading to the scene.
No information has been released from the interview.
