Weekend toll: 6 die trying to enter illegally
    ASSOCIATED PRESS
Six people died trying to enter Arizona illegally in the deadliest weekend for illegal immigrants this year, authorities said.
Three deaths occurred when a stolen vehicle rolled over in Eloy on Saturday after a pursuit by Border Patrol and state Department of Public Safety officers, said Border Patrol spokesman Jim Hawkins.
The Border Patrol found more dead when a Customs and Border Protection helicopter with a search-and-rescue agent aboard spotted a campfire near Cowlick on the Tohono O'odham Nation on Saturday night, Hawkins said.
Five illegal immigrants had run out of water and started the fire to signal for help. Agents reached the group and found two men dead.
A Border Patrol agent found a sixth body in Gardner Canyon in Sonoita on Sunday, Hawkins said.
The deaths pushed the number of known illegal immigrant deaths in the Border Patrol's Tucson sector to 95 since the fiscal year started Oct. 1.
Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...

Without a doubt "humanitarian" groups will say this is senseless and push for their open border cause. It's unfortunate that they died, but it was their decision to break the law and some paid the ultimate price which Americans have to clean up. Certainly, we can not expect the Mexican government to assume any responsibility for their irresponsibility.

This would be avoided with the uses of common sense. It's hot and dangerous, so don't venture out in harms way.

If one did not know any better, you would think these illegals coming across the border was as tourtured and suffering as those poor people in Darfur.

    Who is in control?

I know this sounds callous but I have no sympathy. Six fewer illegal aliens able to steal id's, import drugs and crime and steal more money from American taxpayers. They knew the inherent risks of violating our sovereignty. More food for our endangered buzzard and vulture species.

Mrmiata, I feel the same way and I don't give illegal aliens the time of day here. Illegal Mexican aliens have been lead to believe by their government and the Mexican media that we are going to give them amnesty and a full shot at citizenship....this is further from the truth and the one's who are here are starting to feel an uneasiness as they know they are breaking the law. Heck, even the children of illegal aliens are doing poorly in school as they lack the discipline and structure to perform well which is characteristic of the nature of Mexico.
