Court records show that Border Patrol agents received a tip about illegal immigrant smuggling at a mobile home at 904 Lee Street in Alamo.

Agents placed the mobile home under surveillance and later raided .

Authorities found 79 illegal immigrants inside the cramped three-bedroom mobile home.

Border Patrol agents reported that the mobile home did not have running water or light bulbs in any of the sockets.

Immigrants told investigators that Zuniga was the stash house operator. He allegedly kept the windows closed and told immigrants that they were not allowed to make noise.

Court records show that all 79 immigrants had to share one bathroom with no running water.

Zuniga appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Peter Ormsby in McAllen on Thursday.

Judge Ormsby denied bond for Zuniga until a Tuesday morning hearing.
