ACORN: at it again with voter registration fraud in PA.

ACORN is notorious for voter registration fraud all across the country...watch out in illegal alien communities.

Phila. Probing Advocacy Group's Voter Registrations

    by KYW's Mike Dunn

Philadelphia elections officials are accusing the nonprofit advocacy group "Acorn" of filing fraudulent voter registrations in advance of the April 22nd Pennsylvania primary.

Acorn, which advocates on behalf of low-income residents in the city, has mounted a voter registration drive in the past few months. But city election commissioners are complaining that many of the submitted registrations appear to be faulty, and they have forwarded the matter to the district attorney's office for further investigation.

Krista Holub, Acorn's political director in Pennsylvania, promised the elections officials that her group will cooperate:

"We're very committed to helping low- to moderate-income people across the state get registered to vote. And we're here to work closely with the board of elections to make sure that everyone we're helping to apply gets on the rolls."

The city officials say many of the addresses listed on the registrations are invalid, but Acorn blames the post office for not adequately servicing low-income communities.

I'm sorry, but I do not fully understand what type of "help" would be needed to register to vote since the process is so easy a third grader could do it. In addition, why would a non-profit advocacy group be needed to carry out this process.

What is the real agenda of this group?

Good grief....blaming the post office for invalid addresses....how about blaming and charging the applicants with voter fraud......

Notice how she mentions that their goal is to make sure that everyone who registers gets onto the rolls, but makes no mention whatsoever of making sure it is only those who are LEGALLY registered who are placed on the rolls.

This ACORN "advocacy group" is really starting to get under my skin! Nearly every morning, while running, I hear their local radio spots advertising free tax preparation for families making under 45,000 and offering assitance in taking advantage of all the other benefits they may be "entitled" to including (and they DO name them) the EITC, medicaid, food programs and heating assistance. The spot then repeats in spanish.

These advocacy groups "for the poor" are so prolific anymore that I am convinced that big profits are being reaped by those running/managing them.

ACORN's practices have corrupted our political process as well. It has engaged in questionable election activities for yearsstretching back even to the organization's founding years in Arkansas . In recent years, as its political power has increased, so have instances of fraud.

In the past few years, it has been investigated for election fraud in at least a dozen states. Want examples?

In Florida, ACORN employees filed a false voter registration form for 68-year-old former St. Petersburg Democratic mayor Charles Schuh amazingly, they registered him as a 30-year-old Republican woman. In Ohio , ACORN and its affiliate Project Vote submitted registration cards that had the highest rate of errors for any voter registration group. In Colorado , two ex-ACORN employees were convicted of turning in false registrations. The list goes on.

Just last year, in an effort to put a wage initiative on the ballot in Albuquerque, New Mexico, ACORN employee's forged thousands of fraudulent signatures . The group is involved in initiative efforts in a half-dozen states this year. How many thousands of signatures will they forge to forward their agenda?

It's time to send a message to ACORN. It is time to end the corruption.
