Activists: New immigrant plan won't work

Mexico City, Mexico, Jun. 2 (UPI) -- Mexican activists say a new plan to send illegal immigrants back to their hometowns for free won't prevent them from sneaking into the Unites States again.

The United States and Mexico have announced a program to fly illegal immigrants caught in the Arizona desert back to Mexico City or Guadalajara. From there they would be bussed home.

Arturo Solis, director of the Center for Border Studies and the Promotion of Human Rights, said the program will not dissuade Mexicans from trying to enter the United States again, El Universal reported Thursday.

"Those who are leaving everything behind to head to the border will continue trying," Solis said. "It will just make it more expensive for the migrants but this is not going to reduce illegal migration."

I think Fox and Bush are both footing the bill for these poor Mexicans to relocate here.

Exactly what does a center for border studies study? How to sneak illegals in past the border patrol?
