AfD Hits Out at Merkel after Christmas Market Attack: ‘These Are Your Dead’

The anti-mass immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has hit out at German Chancellor Angela Merkel after Monday’s Christmas market attack, saying the victims are “her dead”.

A Pakistani migrant, named as 23-year-old Naved B, was arrested for allegedly driving a truck into a Christmas market in Berlin, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens others.

Mrs Merkel has come under increasing pressure since her decision to allow in over a million migrants last year, with many calling for a drastic reduction in immigration.

Senior AfD member Marcus Pretzell tweeted Monday evening: “When will the German state of law strike back? When will this cursed hypocrisy finally stop? These are Merkel’s dead!”

He also accused the German media of keeping quiet about the motive, leaving it to the foreign press to report that it had been a terror attack. He described the German press’s silence as “perverse”.

German officials have said the attacker entered the country through the Balkans in January or February this year, and was believed to be living in a migrant centre at Berlin’s Tempelhof airport.

Other figures from across the world tweeted their anger and condolences.

French National Front politician Marion Le Pen wrote: “Solidarity with the German public, who have been heavily hit by Islamic terror.”

Her aunt, party leader Marine, said in a statement: “How many massacres and deaths will be necessary before our governments stop bringing a considerable number of migrants into our countries?”

She called for the “immediate restoration of nation borders” and halt to the redistribution of migrants across France.

The Front National leader also called for Washington, Paris and Moscow to form a strategic alliance against Islamist terrorism, and said security should be tightened not just at Christmas markets but also at Christmas Masses in French churches.

Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage also laid the blame squarely on Angela Merkel: “Terrible news from Berlin but no surprise. Events like these will be the Merkel legacy,” he tweeted.

Do not let this happen here. No more Muslims, none, not one. I do not to want to hear about not inflicting hardships on “innocent” Muslims. What about the suffering of innocent American who are victims of Muslims? Why should the welfare of a possibly “innocent” Muslims have priority over the safety of innocent Americans? The worse that can happen to an “innocent” Muslim is he will have stay in North Africa--the innocent American can end up dead.

There is no way to determine with certainty which Muslim is harmless and which is a terrorist. However we can be certain if we keep out all Muslims. We have no moral obligation to take them in simply because they want to be here. The priority obligation of our government is to protect Americans. Instead of squandering huge amounts of money to accommodate some foreigner, our government should go with the maximum protection: KEEP ALL OF THEM THE HELL OUT OF OUR COUNTRY.

Of course we know what is going on with the Muslim thing—God forbid we should do any kind of discriminatory profiling—because that would be considered “RACIST.” Better thousands of innocent Americans die than we do anything that might remotely be interoperated as racial discrimination against non Caucasians. Besides most of the victims of Muslim terrorist are Caucasians and Caucasians lives do not matter because 150 years ago a small number owned slaves.

Let's settle all our 'little', but horrendous wars in the ME an send them back to their homeland.

I don't think anyone deserves to come to this country just because they want. Somehow we have been operating under the impression anyone deserves to come to this country.

No they can go back where they came from and practice Jihad and Sharia law there. They will never assimilate as they hate this country and Americans. We do not want or need any of them here. Merkel has to go she has destroyed Germany with those migrants and the German people are going to vote her out in the next election. They also want to find and deport all of those migrants that are attacking and killing German citizens. Germany cannot even protect its citizens as they do not have the resources to do so. There are over 7,000 migrants they do not even know where they are. We cannot allow that to happen here. Donald Trump will not allow that to happen here.
