Agents discover 104 immigration violations

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials made a number of arrests and seizures last week at ports of entry in El Paso, West Texas and New Mexico.

Last week, officers uncovered 104 immigration violations and recorded 27 cases of people making false U.S. citizenship claims, people attempting to enter with false documents and people attempting to enter the U.S. without inspection.

Officials also saw six agriculture violations totaling $1,300 in penalties, apprehended 30 fugitives, recovered a stolen vehicle and confiscated 1,716 pounds of marijuana and $18,720 in unreported currency.
