GOP Announces Priorities For 2012 Legislative Session
Republican leaders in the state House and Senate announce the main priorities for the 2012 legislative session.

State GOP leaders say job creation is top priority for the 2012 legislative session. House Speaker Mike Hubbard and Senate President Pro Tem Del Marsh say they will reenact tax incentives for businesses that passed last session but are being challenged in court because they started in the Senate, as opposed to the House. This time they will start in the House. No legislation will be considered that will weaken the new anti-illegal immigration law.
Both leaders say they want jobs to go to real Alabama Citizens
