U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva thanked President Obama for trying to stop Arizona’s new immigration law, even as others in Arizona’s congressional delegation criticized the decision.
“Even the most ardent supporters of SB 1070 should support this crucial test of its legality,â€

Obama again will tackle the efforts of "WE THE PEOPLE"
instead of doing his JOB of securing our borders and enforcing laws.
Doesn't take care of the oil spill or the jobs that are so desperately needed to move this economy forward.

Since most polls on this issue show a 70/30 split in favor of the AZ law, I think the justice department is cutting off it's nose to spite it's face on how people may turn on the Democratic Party in the future.
As a registered Independent, I often lean progressive, but when they play this dirty, I'm likely to support any politician that that is vocal for their support of anti illegal immigration laws.Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...

Hey Grijalva cholo ese! I'll make it real simple for you. U.S. law and U.S. Constitution applies to U.S. citizens and no-one else. Not anybody in Algeria, Tunisia, France, Latvia, Timbuktu or Tibet - and not to Mexicans either. When you violate our law you do not then get rewarded with the benefit of our law unless you already are a citizen.
Perhaps our U.S. laws should be revised to give each illegal entrant into the U.S. the exact same treatment they would receive if they were an illegal entrant into their home nation with a default law for people illegally immigrating from lawless territory. Now who could complain about that?Restitution to Displaced Citizens First!
