A man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for a conviction of distributing a kilogram of cocaine, the U.S. attorney's office said Monday.
Rodolfo Deleon Martinez, also known as Benito Hernandez-Vega, was part of a drug distribution organization consisting of Mexican nationals in the U.S., federal prosecutor Stephan A. Collins said in a prepared statement. Martinez, 31, was an illegal alien who was living in Anchorage, the federal attorney's office said.
Prosecutors said the organization was composed of legal, permanent U.S. residents and illegal immigrants. It distributed more than 40 kilograms of cocaine in Anchorage over a two-year period, the agency said.
U.S. District Judge Ralph Beistline sentenced Martinez on Friday.

This hard-working, drug dealing Mexican illegal alien deserves protection from La RAZA, perhaps Mexico will now open a consulate in Alaska to help the emerging community of illegal alien Mexicans plying their criminal trade.
