ALERT: Obama immigration meeting postponed INDEFINATELY

Obama immigration meeting postponed yet again

President Barack Obama's administration has indefinitely delayed a scheduled meeting with members of Congress on immigration reform.

It's the second time this month that the meeting, originally scheduled for June 8, has been pushed back, now with no set date.

The blogs and news sites started buzzing with speculation right away. The headline at Kiplinger.com read: Immigration: White House Likely to Disappoint.

But advocates refused to take the delay as a sign of a lack of commitment by the Obama administration, issuing statements predicting that an immigration reform plan will move forward this year.

Ali Noorani, executive director of the National Immigration Forum, an immigrant advocacy organization, released a statement saying that delaying the meeting is a "mistake."

"Momentum is building for comprehensive immigration reform with more and more Americans demanding solutions," Noorani said in the statement. "The President is too smart not to move on immigration reform this year. We don't see this as a signal that President Obama is stepping back from reform."

Who is Noorani talking about? She must mean illegal aliens and their families. Because 80% of Americans DO NOT WANT AMNESTY OR ANYTHING THAT RESEMBLES AMNESTY!

    ALERT: Obama

Do NOT be deceived. We MUST continue to contact all our senators, democrat and Republican. Ask questions-DEMAND answers, before it is too late.

    Sample questions.
    1. Lack of immigration enforcement at the Federal government level has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to come here, steal our jobs and Id's. Why should citizens have faith that new enforcement measures, tied to reform, will be enforced?
    2. Illegal immigrants are experts at forging documents. How will residence requirements be verified and what are the penalties for submitting false information to qualify for amnesty?
    3. How much will taxpayers spend to process millions of applicants for amnesty?
    4. What will happen to illegal immigrants who either do not apply or are refused due to criminal history?
    5. Will groups like ACORN or LARAZA be helping applicants?
    6. Will applicants who are refused be allowed to appeal through our court system, costing taxpayers more money?
    7. How will amnesty stop illegal immigration?

Read up on the Amnesty Act of 1986. It was "promised" as a ONE TIME AMNESTY. None of the enforcement measures which promised "an end to illegal immigration" were even attempted.
The promised backgroud checks were a joke. False documents were accepted at face value. Many using the same names, addresses and places of employment. No one verified any information.
The Federal Government hopes we have a short memory. They know Amnesty is wrong. It failed before and will fail again. The difference is now we have more elite politicians, lining their pockets with big business and union money....

Do you think they take the American pulse thru the Congressmen,
Senators and state Legislature, to make the decision?

What if they stick it in something and we don't find out?
We all know that they don't read the Bills!

White House puts off immigration meeting again

The White House has postponed, for the second time this month, a meeting with members of Congress on the administration’s plan to take up the illegal immigration issue.

The White House had planned the meeting for June 8 originally and rescheduled it for June 17. It is being rescheduled for next week, according to a White House official.

"The meeting will happen soon and a new date is being set," the official said.

The meeting is set to include a small number of senators and members of Congress and is acting as a kickoff for the administration’s efforts on immigration.

The White House has previously conceded that it is unlikely to make much headway on the issue until later this year, but the delayed meetings suggest getting started will be even more difficult than first anticipated.

Even Obama allies are starting to worry about the delay.

“If it’s postponed, we’re confident it will be rescheduled, but the president can’t keep leaving us at the altar and not going through with the meeting,â€

I agree Texas we need to keep the calls faxes and emails streaming into Congress. The majority of Americans do not want amnesty! They want their country secured and what jobs there are protected for American workers not illegal aliens.

It doesn't matter if they read the bills

It doesn't matter whether or not they read the bills. Even after agreeing to a bill, they can add or strip anything before it is actually passed. For instance, they stripped the verbiage about not publishing the interrogation photos, which would harm our military. The Democrats slip in or remove from the bills whatever they want.
