The Senate Judiciary Committee’s senior Republican said on Thursday that he is on the verge of offering a new immigration reform package, making significant changes that could win over recalcitrant members from both parties.
Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.), who accompanied President Bush Thursday on his visit to Pennsylvania, said he has spoken to Bush and the two Cabinet members who have led immigration talks about his new bill. Specter also told reporters that he has spoken to most senators involved in this spring’s failed “grand bargain,â€

Since Bush refuses to enforce the current immigration laws, he's still trying to rewrite them to suit his warped mindset.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

This attempt by Specter is blatant Amnesty. Complete forgiveness of a crime by changing their criminal status. That change in status should be given to Compean and Ramos, NOT to Illegals.
This will be called amnesty even more than the other half-ass attempt to legalize the 12 million illegals in the last senate bill. The other had more smoke and mirrors i.e. the $5,000 fee.
Time to make some more phone calls!

When the 'outside stake-holders' are discovered we will know who our government is really working for. Who gives a never mind about outsiders holding stakes? What is at stake here is Americans who elected these 'senators' to serve the public not outside stakeholders! WTH

We need to call and email this jerk and give him a warning that we're not going to put up with another amnesty bill.

Washington is scared they are trying to get us sooooo pissed off we give up completely!!! We must not let down as this is going to be an ongoing game until Bush is out!!! And if we get another illegal immigrant hero president we are screwed! We need to keep the pressure on them and recruit more Americans to our cause to fight this injustice!!! We did it about 230 years ago and we can do it again!!!
Our country's founders cherished liberty, not democracy.
