Aliens plead guilty in sex slavery case

[quote]Two Brazilian nationals pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of human trafficking and illegal immigration for running a vile Burlington-based prostitution ring. The convictions come as part of an aggressive federal crackdown on sexual slavery, officials said.

Documents in U.S. District Court in Boston depict a house of horrors and intimidation run out of the Lord Baron apartment complex by Vanessa Guedes Lopes, 25, and Raphael Eller Mello, 27.

Each faces life in prison for forcing 11 illegal immigrant women to have sex with johns from Boston’s suburbs to Providence from July 2004 to February 2006. They are to be sentenced in September.
