    While hundreds of undocumented students graduate from college, many are unable to put their degrees to use.
    One year ago Chicano/a studies major Lizbeth’s alarm clock rang at 5:30 a.m., after a quick shower and breakfast she would dash out the door to catch the 6:15 a.m. bus making its way towards CSUN.

    Around 8:30 a.m. Lizbeth was off the bus and heading to her first class along with thousands of other students.

    She was one of hundreds of undocumented students that have entered California’s institutions of higher learning. It is for this reason that she refused to give her full name.

    Unfortunately for those undocumented graduates the opportunity to use their degrees will be scarce.

    No matter how many degrees they get they are still illegal aliens and can't legally work at any job in this country.
    So why waste an education on them.

    Meanwhile Mexifornia just cut off benefits for the poor, blind and other disabled, senior citizens, medicare/medicaid and stopped retirement for retired state workers. Dollars to donuts any bailouts take care of illegal aliens first and increase benefits for them too.......

    Amazing to me that these kids we educated have no thought of returning to the country where they are legal and using some of the gifts we gave them to try and better their fatherland. I guess it is better to just stay here and complain that you are working in a restaurant, hope for amnesty and sue for retribution about all the horrors heaped on them by our immigration laws.

    And our government thinks it is fine to have these people here with their hatred. And what about the illegals ruining American students class ranking based on the Grade Point Average. Think how this is being done.

    At age 18 are the men registering for the military? Another law is being broken.
