We need to find out if tax dollars are paying for the buses from all over the country to take protesters to Washington D.C on March 21st.
I suspect tax funded groups like ACORN and LA RAZA are using our own money to transport as many as possible to the protest.

    Immigration Reform

WASHINGTON - A week after President Barack Obama will met behind closed doors at the White House with representatives of the civil society and then with two senators who write a plan of immigration reform, An influential lawmaker on Wednesday joined the effort to legalize million undocumented.

    Plan in progress

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vertmont), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, confirmed on Wednesday its support for the comprehensive immigration reform and said in a note that will continue to work with Senators Charles Schumer and Lindsey Graham, who drafted since October last year a bipartisan plan.

Simultaneously asked the opponents of comprehensive reform plan to submit an alternative to sanctions and enforcement measures and thus repairing a system that both Democrats and Republicans is "broken."

Schumer (DN.Y.) and Graham (R - South Carolina) have six months preparing a project that could be delivered to the Senate during the first weeks of April, provided you have the necessary support to ensure 60 votes of the 100 seats in the Senate.

Leahy said in the note "Like President Obama, I look forward to reviewing that law "(the Schumer-Graham plan), adding that the project to discuss the Legislature must be "consistent with our history as a nation of immigrants. "

    They reject legalization

In Leahy's statement also criticized those who oppose the comprehensive immigration reform and said that position was "not realistic, "and condemned the failure to confront a problem that includes an "estimated 12 million people who live and work currently in the U.S. without proper documentation ".

"Those opposed to a realistic solution to the millions of people who currently live and work without papers in the U.S. not have offered no alternative solution, rather than sanctions unfeasible "and more law enforcement, Leahy complained.

Similar convictions were expressed by national unions who demanded yesterday to be oppose a comprehensive immigration reform bill to give solutions fair to the millions of workers who expect a response Congress.

    Secure Reform

The chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee said that the legalization of the nearly 12 million illegal immigrants make America a country safer and our economy will be more secure when people currently living in the shadows of our society are recognized and be provided with the means to obtain legal status.

Leahy said he will pursue the issue with both chambers and the President "to determine how best to proceed."

The offices of legislators Mitch McConnell (Ky.) Leader Republican minority in the Senate and John Boehner (Ohio), head of the Republican minority in the House of Representatives, have expressed an open and public support to work undertaken by Schumer and Graham, a situation that could halt the debate and not allow installed this year in Congress.

    March on Washington

As pressure measurement, this Sunday 21 to 100 thousand protesters will appointment in the U.S. capital to revive the marches spring of 2006 and require the White House and Congress to approve immigration reform as soon as possible.

Sources consulted by Univision organizations battling for this effort noted that another of the demands they will exhibit in Washington DC that the Administration will stop the raids until the end of the debate.

A report by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published in early March realized that in FY 2009 (from 1 October 2008 to September 30, 2009) were more immigrants deported during the last fiscal year 2008, about 390 mil.

Call Sen. Lindsey Graham, tell him NO Amnesty Bill!

Republican Sen. Graham joined with Liberal Dem. Sen. Schumer to push through "another" Amnesty bill, like the McCain/Kennedy Bill. Call him and tell him that the Liberal Dems. are doing enough to hang themselves with forced partisan health care and don't need Republican help with this very unpopular Amnesty. Americans are unemployed by the millions and ILLEGAL alien trespassers are here by the Millions.
