Group Helps Hayworth Counter Romney Endorsement

The endorsements are coming fast and furious in the Arizona Senate Republican primary, as both sides seek to line up support from local and national GOP constituencies and politicians.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) received the most high profile nod, from former presidential rival and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney Tuesday morning.
That's a big one. It overshadowed former Rep. J.D. Hayworth's (R-Ariz.) "major endorsement announcement" Monday from the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association, which represents the largest law enforcement agency in Arizona.
McCain's campaign simultaneously put out endorsements from two past presidents and six past board members of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association.
Romney, a 2012 presidential aspirant, famously tangled with McCain on the campaign trail in 2008, and has some indirect ties to Hayworth -- Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, one of Hayworth's biggest boosters, served as honorary chair of Romney's Arizona campaign team in 2008, while Jason Rose, an advisor to Hayworth's Senate run, was Romney's state director.
On Tuesday, however, Romney had nothing but effusive praise for McCain, saying "I'm proud to call him my friend."
Hayworth followed up Tuesday with an endorsement from an anti-illegal immigration group, Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee. The PAC spent as much time bashing McCain -- "a notorious supporter of Amnesty for illegal aliens" -- as it did praising Hayworth.
"JD Hayworth has taken sides with the 80 percent of Americans who want our borders secured and our existing immigration laws enforced," said President William Gheen. "By contrast, John McCain has clearly taken sides with the Open Borders Lobby which would wreck this nation by pursuing amnesty, instead of enforcement."
The PAC also made a $1,000 donation to Hayworth's campaign.
CQ Politics rates the general election contest Safe Republican.

Thanks William.
I was thinking I would support Mitt Romney for President in 2012 but looks like I need to find a new candidate to support.
I am supporting J.D. and Sheriff Joe!
Thanks again!

This tells me exactly what I already knew about Mitt Romney. Just say no to Mitt in 2012!

I knew that Mitt Romney could not be trusted when he was running for president back in 2008. I knew there wasn't something right about this guy. I knew that something was off. He just seemed like he was the Republican version of John Kerry talking out of both sides of his mouth, constantly flip flopping on issues.
This doesn't surprise me. I hope that Juan McQueen falls flat on his face and loses his reelection bid and that anybody who supports his bid goes down with him. Please support our fight against illegal immigration by joining ALIPAC's email alerts here https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Mitt's endorsement is a good thing!
With all these endorsements coming from the other RINOs it's going to be easy to pick the actual conservatives when it's election time in 2010 and in 2012. Mitt, Sarah we ain't gonna forget ya! Immigration is the root cause of every single problem we have in America and there's no way of getting around it politically like they tried to do in '08. I felt the YouTube debates were the best because they brought out what was on every real Americans' mind at that time. What are we going to do about these impending problems in the US. Just about every candidate dodged all their questions at the time but during the next election immigration is going to be a huge anchor tied around the "They are all God's children" group necks. (I always wondered what was wrong with being God's children in Mexico? Is nobody who stayed in Mexico one of God's children?) Arguing with McCain must be like arguing with a very young child...with a turkey neck.
JOE BIDEN WANTS TO BRING IN GAZA RESIDENTS AND GIVE THEM...
