Pro Illegal Alien Deportation Group Urges Safe Passage - Good Idea

By Jerry McConnell Sunday, August 1, 2010

The passage of the complete Arizona Immigration Law SB-1070 may not have stood up to the nitpicking, Obama-persuaded, decision of Judge Susan Bolton, but its effects and implications had started to be felt even before the judge’s announcement.

It seems that many illegal aliens already here across the border by means of breaking United States crossing laws had started to become a bit spooked that the long arm of the United States law would be clamping down on them; maybe even in a manner related to what their own home countries do to similar law breakers.

Not a pretty picture even just a few miles south across the Mexican border; so these nervous aliens decided not to wait to see what would happen if the new law became active and they began the trek southward back from whence they came to America.

Concurrent with this reverse migration, the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC), an organization opposed to illegal aliens in the United States, is according to FoxNews.com on July 28, 2010, “urging U.S. citizens to pressure the White House and the Homeland Security Department to establish ‘safe departure’ border checkpoints along the border for the emigrants so they can leave without fear of being detained or prosecuted for immigration crimes.â€
