Republicans dancing in the streets after Brown’s victory

    The Desert Sun

The e-mail is buzzing this morning with Republicans giddy over Scott Brown’s U.S. Senate victory in Massachusetts.

He decisively seized the seat held by Ted Kennedy for 47 years.

Many are saying the problem was the lame campaign run by Democrat Martha Coakley.

Others call the first sign of a shift to the center and a rejection of President Obama’s liberal agenda.

It is only one vote, but it is a critical one that gives Republicans the 41st vote they need to sustain a filibuster.

Just a few from my e-mail:

    - Liberty Counsel — a conservative group linked with Liberty University founded by the Rev. Jerry Falwell — calls it “a shot heard ‘round the world.â€

The election of Scott Brown shows that a lesser known candidate, even a fresh face, can rise with the support of the American people. There are opportunities to beat back the Republican and the Democrat machine. We do not want the new candidates to be compromised, so while the progressives in both parties are whispering in their ears, we the people had better be whispering/shouting too.

    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

The title of this article is misleading. Not all of the people mentioned are Republicans.

Part of the problem is this country is people like Kennedy can entrench themselves into government for life.

How much taxpayer money do you suppose was wasted keeping someone like Ted Kennedy in office for 47 years?

    What a crook!

But the Republicans are still not getting it....the Independents helped vote in Scott Brown.the Independants are the biggest voting block in this Country...

If the Republicans think it is a victory for them...they are way off the mark...they voted for the bailout they voted for health care...they voted for amnesty...they voted to further crap and traitor...need I go on...

If they don't do the job of "The People" they are out....
