Two alleged members of the MS-13 street gang from the Woodbridge area were among three charged with first-degree murder last week in the shooting death of 21-year-old Shannah Marie Angeles, according to the Stafford Sheriff's Office.
Police in Prince William and Fairfax counties arrested Luis "Crimen" Antonio Serrano-Gutierrez, 19, of 3625 Woodhaven Court in the Old Bridge Estates subdivision, Edward "Spunky" Amberly Perez, 19, of 14345 Belleville Ave. in Dale City and "Slow" Alberto Bonilla-Delcid, 25, of 6003 Rixey Drive in Alexandria.

Angeles, whose body was found in a remote area of northern Stafford County, was abducted at gunpoint from Alexandria in July and shot to death, police said, because she was believed to be a member of a rival gang.

Stafford Sheriff Charles Jett has said he does not know whether Angeles was a gang member.

Serrano-Gutierrez and Perez were charged with seven offenses, including first-degree murder and felony murder. Bonilla-Delcid, who lives in Alexandria, was charged with three crimes, including conspiracy to commit murder.

About a month ago, police arrested alleged MS-13 member Jose "Little Blue" Santos Portillo-Chicas, a 31-year-old Woodbridge resident, on murder and seven other charges.

All are being held without bond in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Stafford County authorities are still searching for another alleged gang member, 17-year-old Henry "Droopy" Mejivar in the killing of Angeles.

Authorities say Angeles was forced into the woods off Joshua Road and shot multiple times, including at least once to the head.

A mother of three, Angeles was visiting from the Chicago area and had been staying in a motel in Northern Virginia, according to authorities.

Authorities say Angeles stayed at the motel until running out of money. She then stayed in Alexandria at the home of someone who knew Portillo-Chicas and Mejivar, both of whom she was subsequently introduced to.

MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha, is a Salvadoran street gang that has gained a foothold in Northern Virginia.
