Isn't this against the Law in the United States? Today? That is all that matters.
I know illegals don't follow the laws.
True Americans better start voicing their opinions in more places than this forum. We need to be in public and we need to start voting ourselves.I'm "Dot" and I am LEGAL!

Right. They don't do anything else legally so why should voting be any different? The more who come into the country illegally, the more can and will vote. Isn't that the idea behind all this "migration"? The more bodies they have the more power they'll have. I've witnessed the strong arm tactics they use once they have control. Voting by non-citizens must not be allowed and must be punished when it happens.

I noticed a large poster on the wall prior to entering to vote, and it listed the requirements to register to vote.
They are: a drivers license, if none OR last 4 digits of your SS# OR a copy of current utility bill, bank statements, government check, paycheck, or government document that shows your name and address.
Of course your registration form makes you sign that you are a US Citizen if not don't complete, but further down again it goes on: I swear or affirm that 1) I am a US citizen, 2) I live in the address shown,3) I am at least 17, 4)not convicted of a disfranchising felony or have had my voting rights restored.
The break the law to get here, what makes anyone think signing a document, one in the English language, would be any different. I can see the defense now, me no speak English, so did not understand the form. You know they would get away with it too.
I was really appalled and mad to think that all they have to show is a current utility bill to be allowed to register to vote, forget the US citizenship oath. Who in the right mind wants illegal aliens voting on actions that affect citizens? These people have gone too far on this issue and WE MUST VOTE EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM OUT OF OFFICE UNTIL WE GET WHO WE WANT IN.
I am going to write a letter to both the Secretary of State of our state as well as the attorney general and question them on this as well as the local state reps. We need to makes changes to this for sure.

Where is Ron Paul on this issue, or Tom Tancredo, Mitt Romney and we know about Guilliani. It is high time the Republicans started to scream. Are the chicken shit or what? Afraid to offend an illegal?

I think we have to start right within our states as well, questioning this, and hitting up our local reps/state reps to get changes made.
Most people in my state with the exception of some active groups, seem to have blinders on about the whole issue, I dont' know if its because of the lack of media coverage or what, but its not an issue that seem to generate any kind of heat here. When you do you are called, of all things, KKK, besides the usual racist, xenophobe.
I sent an e-mail to two of the rtm members here, one dem the other repub asking them about town participation in the 287g program, and some other stuff, stating my concerns and did not hear from either of them. That disturbed me, and I sent a rational, thoughtful letter, no ranting or raving or any of that, just some questions on the issue and one comment about how since New Haven declared Sancturary and the ID, that you were seeing spillover about our town. I wanted answers before voting yesterday, but did not get any. Especially now that the town is building a large affordable housing project close to the center of town.
Other towns limited that to elderly housing, our town didn't, and I found out recently that these developers can get out of that someway after a while. It has something to do with the funds that affect use the developers get. I am all for legal immigrants getting that stuff, as well as those citizens who need it, but not for illegal aliens. Our town isn't big enough to need this additional housing that I can see. We already have lots of condos available and great quality elderly housing.

Bush is so proud of the 'democracy' that his unlawful invasion of Iraq has produced and the right of the Iraqi people to elect their leaders. I would like to see his reaction if the Iranians crossed over the border and participated in the Iraqi elections.
We must push through early Thurs at this critical moment
