    ENGLISH CREATED AND PRESERVES AMERICA

    ENGLISH CREATED AND PRESERVES AMERICA

The fastest way to destroy America: Add multiple languages in order to fracture the nation’s citizens into tense, confused and separated groups that can’t understand each other.

Nancy Hamilton gives her thoughts on the invasion in New Jersey. She said, “As illegal aliens enter the U.S. in hordes, streaming across our border with Mexico, schools here in New Jersey -- including public schools -- are teaching Spanish to students in grades one through eight. I believe that the intent and implications of this instruction is potentially harmful to our survival as a nation, and that taxpayers should speak up against it.

The New Jersey Department of Education discusses foreign language instruction on its website by pointing out that New Jersey is “. . . a state with over 100 ethnic groups . . . where more than 150 different languages are spoken." The suggestion is that these facts about the state have some relevance to the foreign language instruction.

“Who cares about this ethnic diversity? Hamilton asked. “We are a sovereign nation with one national language, English. If you come to live here, you should have enough respect for our country that you will want to adapt to our ways and learn our language. Otherwise, why would you come to live here, if you don't want to live as an American?

Hamilton said, “Unfortunately, we know that many of the illegals come here to take advantage of our system. They use our health care, welfare benefits, and schools without paying taxes. They are draining our resources. They're in our jails, some for having committed heinous crimes.

“Yet we are requiring our youngsters to learn Spanish, the language spoken by these illegals overrunning the country, Hamilton. “This is akin to asking our kids to assimilate to the foreigners. It's absurd. Further, it promotes the idea that this instruction is a viable solution to the problem we face with the swelling numbers of Hispanics in the U.S., a large number of whom are illegal aliens. After all, whom are these kids supposed to be speaking Spanish with?

Then one wonders, what is so important about having these kids -- some so young that they can hardly read English -- learn a foreign language? How about having the schools focus their attention on the basics: English, math, science, history? In fact, we know that our students have been falling behind students of other nations in math and science skills, posing a serious threat for the country. Can we really allow the schools to divert attention away from the basics?

A perfect example occurred in Denver Public Schools this spring. According to the Rocky Mountain News, May 16, 2005, ‘What Happened?’â€â€

What people can do, if they want to rebel, tell their kids to not pay attention and not learn the language. Teach their children why, and what to tell their teacher if they were to ask.

I recently read something written by a teacher in Hilton Head, SC and what she wrote was just appalling. She said that teachers were REQUIRED, at THEIR OWN EXPENSE, to learn Spanish over the summer break. If they didn't, they wouldn't have a job to come back to. This was in HILTON HEAD for goodness sakes.

We have got to rise up and DEMAND that English be made our OFFICIAL language though it's too bad that there is even a NEED for that step. These types of issues just keep popping up and, once again, our elected officials just choose to ignore them. This is an abomination.

    Future Teacher!

I'm sure that one of the constitutional amendments should be able to protect teachers from having to be subjugated to learn a second language. Isn't that a encrouchment to the pursuit of happiness or better yet a form of descrimination?

I am currently attending National University in Sacramento, CA. They put the "Cult" in Multi-Culturalism. These guys take the cake for "diversity training". I am practically banging my head against the wall trying to be a "devils advocate" in class because everyone else just sits there accepting the professors (who happens to be from Sri Lanka) world veiw. So far he has come out in support of many global multi-cultural veiws. Not one student (except me) has challenged him over the dangers of globalism from a social and economic perspective. He thinks diversity is a great thing. I think it is a detrimate to our nations' cohesiveness.

All of my arguments have been in support of the preservation of borders, language and culture (sounds like savage). I have profoundly stated that a nation without one official common language is a nation ready to be divided.
This professor was purposefully oblivious to the fact that this is still a sovereign nation.
Unfortunately the human cows in my class continue to subject themselves to this kind of brainwashing. They are nothing but a bunch of socialist and communists without a clue.
As a student I may well receive a poor grade but at least I know I did my part in challenging the status quo.

This professor dared to show us a video comparing our education model (focuses on individualism) to that of the cooperative models of Japan and Germany. All he talked about was how much more superior Japan and Germany's schools were. He said "is it any wonder that American schools are falling behind".
You would not beleive the heckling I got when I said "Perhaps our school system would be more successfull if they had all the money that was wasted in reparations. I find it awfully suspicious that my country is being unfairly compared to two nations that we fought during WW2 and then we had an obligation to help rebuild." "One could draw the same parallels of WW2 and Iraq and Afganistan; Just imagine what our schools could do if we had all the money that's so far been wasted in trying to rebuild their little dirt mound"
And for that I angered the professor who wanted to "speak to me privately". I will definately get a poor grade.

What's not so funny about this, is the potential teachers who will graduate with a credential just so they could ram "diversity" and "multi-culturalism" down your kids throats, instead of teaching the important stuff like real math, science and solid history.

TERRIFIC, Ssnick! You keep right on speaking out and you might also want to add (though you really MIGHT FAIL the course) that, if more educational institutions would hire AMERICANS to teach, education would benefit exponentially. Boy, do they have the NERVE. Come into OUR COUNTRY and compare us with German and Japan. You sure hit the nail on the head when you compared the amount of money being spent on Iraq and Afghanistan with what is spent right here in America.

    GREAT DISCOURSE!

Ssnick. More power to you If you fail I would think there is a way you can have your grade viewed by a panel of some sort. It is improper to fail a student based upon his/her views, which is discrimination at its best.

Here is a post http://www.alipac.us/ftopicp-51953-.html#51953 along the same lines, but from the globalist cucumber that you’re being taught by.

It is sad the way these sheeple in your class have no gumption to express their view. This is the apparent desensitization that the American people are subjected to.

Out of curiosity, what course is this? Don't tell me that it is business, or critical thinking of some sort, please.

The class is called "Foundations in Education". Isn't it ironic that USA is the most ingenious wealth building nation in the world yet we get compared as a third rate nation concerning the education of our children.

The really funny thing is, that the video my class and I had to watch, was made and produced by CNN. It was shot in Kansas around 1992.One of the things I said in class was: Please! If any filmaker wants to paint a bleak and dreary picture of American education and job resources, then pick Kansas of all places!

My professor wasn't pleased about that either

In fact I received a letter in the mail about my final exam. It seems he want's to negotiate a "fair" grade for my participation in class.
It seems like I may have to challeng it before a school board or something!

Well, I sure wouldn't sit back and NOT challenge him. That is just a total crock. What ever happened to free expression???
