U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officers have made another million-dollar heroin seizure at the Arizona-Mexico border.

Officers found 47 pounds of heroin, worth an estimated $2.1 million, in a Volkswagen Jetta crossing into the United States at the Nogales port of entry on Monday.

An officer working the primary lane at the DeConcini port of entry noticed that the driver of the car was visibly nervous and became suspicious about the vehicle. It was pulled over for a more intensive inspection, and the heroin was found in compartments in the rear bumper and trunk.

The driver was arrested and turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

The seizure was the 19th seizure of heroin at Nogales this fiscal year, Customs said.
