America Voters Still Rate Biden Poorly on Immigration
Jose Nino | Sep 18, 2022
According to a Rasmussen poll published at the end of August, voters believe America’s immigration crisis is getting worse. More importantly, the Biden regime’s handling of the issue still remains incredibly unpopular among Americans.
In the Rasmussen poll, 54% of likely US voters believe the illegal immigration problem is worsening.
Only 12% believe the illegal immigration problem is improving, whereas 30% say the problem is staying the roughly same.
Only 29% of voters gave Biden a good or excellent rating for the way he has tackled immigration matters. By contrast, 50% gave Biden a poor rating on how he’s handled immigration.
73% of voters believe the immigration issue will be important in the 2022 midterms, which includes 55% who expect the issue to be very important. Only 24% don’t believe immigration will be an important issue in the 2022 midterms.
83% of Republicans, 26% of Democrats, and 54% of independent voters believe the illegal immigration problem is worsening. 22% of Democrats, 3% of Republicans, and 9% of independent voters believe the illegal immigration problem is improving. 45% of Democrats, 12% of Republicans, and 33% of independent voters believe the illegal immigration problem is staying more or less the same.
81% of Republicans, 53% of independent voters, and 18% of Democrats rated the Biden regime poorly on matters concerning immigration. 52% of Democrats believe Biden’s handling of immigration is excellent or good. By contrast, only 13% of Republicans and 20% of independent voters hold that opinion.
65% of Republicans, 31% of Democrats, and 39% of independent voters believe the immigration issue will be very important in the 2022 midterms.
As far as race is concerned, black voters (35%) are less concerned than whites (57%) or other non-white minorities (55%) about the illegal immigration problem.
62% of voters making between $30,000 and $50,000 believe illegal immigration is worsening. By contrast, only 40% of individuals making over $200,000 annually agree that immigration situation is getting worse.
47% of voters making north of $200,000 gave Biden a good or excellent rating about the way he has handled immigration. 53% of private sector employees believe illegal immigration is worsening, however only 41% of public sector employees agree.
Mass migration continues to be a problem. However, the DC uniparty doesn’t care about this issue. It’s only thanks to the election of Donald Trump and the movement he spawned that the immigration question is back in the national spotlight.
Now, it’s up to the America First movement to continue this fight. The first place it can do so is in the 2022 midterms.
