Is that the brand name they go by, "American Apparel"??
I want to make sure I never buy their crap.
If you really want to get angry, go to their website and read all their postings on immigration (under Legalize LA). I'd go naked before I'll wear their clothes.

This is exactly what I think! AR is virtually flaunting their defiance of the law and seemingly getting a free pass! This company advertises continuously on spanish tv here in LA, whereby they are looking for workers! I can almost guarantee you they are employing illegal invaders at their downtown LA sweatshop!

I'm still waiting for that big ICE raid in downtown Los Angeles! Or has our reconquista mayor made sure that will never happen!

American Apparel diligently complies with the law, but identity documents can be easily forged, said Adrian Kowalewski, director of corporate finance. "Because the immigration system is broken, we're exposed," he said.
If Adrian Kowalewski used E-Verify he wouldnt have anything to worry about. AND - THE SYSTEM ISNT BROKEN. WE HAVE LAWS ON THE BOOKS THAT NEED ENFORCING.

Yea...good point BB! I'm quite certain that Adrian Kowalewski isn't going our of his way to identify those who have chosen to submit fradulent/stolen documents to secure work with his company!

I also suspect that adrian enjoys playing the "system is broken" card, in an effort to shield himself from potential liability or wrong doing, in the event his company is raided by immigration officials, while enjoying the benefits of cheap, illegal invader labor!
