There should be no exceptions for the Attorney General, but in any event Jeh Johnson is not Attorney General, he's Secretary of the Deparment of Homeland Security. And what is this crap about "abusive spouse"? What in the hell does that have to do with US immigration law? An illegal alien can claim they were running away from an "abusive spouse" and the Attorney General can let them stay in the US? SERIOUSLY?! Well, Congress should be strung up and fed to the birds for writing such a law. Spousal abuse is a domestic issue that women and yes even some men have to deal with in every country in the world, so that is not a legitimate excuse for entering our country illegally. Do like Americans and go to another town, work the police for a new identity, or get a gun and wait until he tries to abuse you, then use it. Whatever! These people are wimps, really. Whine, whine, whine. Our country was not built by such, and it won't sustain with such.

Cut the states loose to start deporting these people now. This is the best solution, it doesn't cost any money, states have more than enough resources to do the job, and once it starts many of these people will self-deport so they can take their possessions.

And make it clear to all Presidential candidates that we will not accept any lame excuses of any type to the contrary.
