Ga. governor hopeful says he'll copy new Ariz. law
By Stephen Dinan
A Republican running for Georgia governor said Tuesday if he's elected he'll enact the same sort of law as Arizona to crack down on illegal immigrants.
Former Rep. Nathan Deal, who resigned from Congress earlier this year to concentrate on his gubernatorial bid, said he thinks Georgians would support the law the same way Arizona residents have.
"As governor of Georgia, I'd work to pass and sign similar legislation," he said in a statement.
The Arizona law, which Gov. Jan Brewer signed last week and which takes effect in several months, makes it a state offense to be in the country illegally, and requires police to question those they have reasonable suspicion may be illegal immigrants.
President Obama has criticized the law and his attorney general said Tuesday it might draw a court challenge from the federal government, but some members of Congress have defended the measure in the face of the federal government's failure to secure the borders.
Polls show Mr. Deal trailing two other Republicans in the battle for the party's nomination in the July primary.

Great. Nathan Deal has also addressed Birthright Citizenship.
John 14:27 (King James Version)
It is written,... Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

This is why the boobs are going so crazy! AX may have found a legal way to deal with this insanity! Hazelton and other towns have tried, but this is the first time a State did this, that is huge, feds cannot ignore states.
The NEWS COVERAGE is all bias in favor of illegals, not even newsworhty, but it shows the bias.

Mr. Deal even though I realize initially that any "SB 1070" type of anti-ILLEGAL immigration bill will place an additional burden on the rest of the States as the ILLEGALS leave the states that protect their Citizens from the ILLEGALS and deplete even more of the resources of the NON Protected states, the remaining state’s legislators will hopefully be forced to implement laws the same as SB 1070 to protect their CITIZENS.
You can not wait for the Federal Government to take ACTION, the struggle against ILLEGALS will have to be fought at the State and Local level if and until the Federal Government decides to Secure our Borders and Enforce our Immigration Laws!
I hope you can continue the ball rolling at the State level and lead the way to immigration sanity for the other Governors and Save our Nation from the Elitist Politicians and their Special Interest Groups!

Nathan Deal is an excellent candidate for Governor of Georgia. He was firmly on our side while serving in the U.S. Congress.

Yeah, we need hope.
I'm worried his opponent will dwell on some baggage Deak is carrying.
I can't make up my mind. I was hoping a couple of good Senators would come forth.
