Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee issued the following news release:

Ranking Member Lamar Smith (R-TX) responded today to the outline of the latest mass amnesty proposal.

The outline does not hold any surprises and lays out the same vision for amnesty that President Obama and the Democrats have promised to the illegal immigrant lobby.

Ranking Member Smith: "This bill doesn't have a prayer because the American people strongly oppose rewarding lawbreakers, which then encourages more illegal immigration.

"Allowing millions of illegal immigrants to stay and take jobs away from citizens is like giving a burglar a key to the house.

"Illegal immigrants should return home and play by the rules like millions of legal immigrants."

Illegal aliens come here without visas or come with visas and overstay. That is not our problem. The illegal immigration situation is not created by the United States. It is created by the same illegal aliens. The system is not broken. Illegal aliens create the problem. Therefore, we do not have to create new laws. Enforce current immigration laws. Deport them. We do not want them here.

I predict the amnesty bill will pass in the middle of the night on Saturday via deem and pass. Our government is corrupt through and through and we citizens have become irrelevant.

MORE Americans are AGAINST givining illegals a free pass...

I'll tell you what. If the Democrats think they can do this to us again, they are completely crazy!

There is absolutely no way Americans will swallow another exhorbitant poison pill of trickery, deceit and high expense (after the health insurance/care sham) for immigration criminals that should never have been allowed to move-in unapproved.
