Anchor Babies Sue U.S. to Allow Parents to Stay
http://cbs4.com/local/immigration.lawsu ... 48611.html
Children File Lawsuit To Keep Parents In U.S.MIAMI (CBS4) ―
Around 150 kids are filing a lawsuit against President Barack Obama to stop the deportations of their parents until Congress performs a massive overhaul of the U.S. immigration laws.
All of the children are U.S. citizens and they argue their constitutional rights are being violated because they would likely have to leave the country with their parents.
Attorneys for the children said the parents came to the U.S. before a 1996 immigration law changed and made it more difficult for the parents to become legal residents.
The kids first brought the suit against former President George W. Bush's administration. It was refilled in January in Miami.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

This is what happens when the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT refuses to enforce FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAW.
Isn't there some kind of protection for the government against such lawsuits? I thought it was impossible to sue the government. If not, can citizens file a class action over stolen identities and jobs by illegal immigrants?

This is a duplicate post. I doubt that this case can succeed--because if it did it would set a precedent of allowing individuals to sue to stop someone else's deportation. At least it would jump to other family members pretty easily.

How can you sue the government for actually ENFORCING the laws on the books? I hope these lawyers get hit with a big fine for frivolous lawsuit.
On the other hand, the liberals may use this for sympathy to pass legalization for illegals.

This subject is on the board already. Duplicate?
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Anchor Babies go with Illegal Parents when deported, Congress needs to make this clear. So children under 18 years old can take care of their parents, and can sign contracts to do so?
