The Philosophies of Illegal Immigration
As usual, Victor Davis Hanson nails the issues:
The Philosophies of Illegal Immigration
Dinosaur Thinking
Even to talk of illegal immigration earns slurs. I can attest to that. It is the most self-censored topic in America today, where we construct artificial worlds of rhetoric that in no way resemble reality (e.g., try to suggest that California’s current problems with 30,000 to 40,000 too many prison inmates, or spiraling entitlement costs, or test scores right below Mississippi’s, or gang-related crime have something to do with the entry over two decades of millions of illegal aliens, and then see whether that proposition is discussed or slurred in ad hominem fashion). The most ardent critic of open discussion is often the most likely to self-select and remove himself from any concrete exposure with the issues he champions at a distance. No one is a better exemplar of the dishonesty than the president who, with large majorities of liberal Democrats in both houses of Congress for two years, deliberately ignored his own “comprehensive immigration reformâ€

Victor David Hanson
Victor David Hanson, with his skills and intelligence cuts directly to the chase. He uses the word "tribalism" to describe some of the attitudes we see displayed by the new conquerors of parts of America. They marched in the streets of Georgia yesterday to protest a law that the state was forced to pass because the federal government cannot, (not enough people), and will not, (Read Obama, Napolitano, Holder), enforce American laws.
This "tribalism", to me, is predominated by those of Hispanic origin. Their "rising" to claim what "is theirs" has affected every aspect of American life. The boundless numbers of American citizens who are so wrapped in self hate as to see the rest of us as callous people aid and abet these invaders.. They are largely students of the Howard Zinn school of American history.
What is there about being of Hispanic origin that makes one aggressive and dangerous. There are those who will say that my words are racist--they are of the same race as us-Caucasian-, there are those who will say they are no worse than Americans at large. I challenge that and if anyone wants to spend a few minutes on the internet to check the illegal immigrant crime rates, please do so and learn. Or just go for a walk in the barrio, unarmed and with a few dollars in your pocket.
Our black citizens are, again, those who suffer the most from this invasion. They suffer the biggest hit in employment, displacement from their neighborhoods and violence. Yet, almost every black politician equates illegal immigration to slavery and adds to the burden oif our black citizens.
Perhaps the black community deserves it. They keep re-electing those politicians who support the illegals who take the jobs of Americans. There is a cost f0or ignorance. There is a cost for complacency and there is a cost for practicing self hating anti American support for illegal invaders.
Unfortunately, the many will pay for the errors of the few.

I remember this article:

being posted more than a few times by Alipac posters and we had to remove so many Dups it got tiring.
