One would think that Mexico would do more to keep these guys alive? Any law enforcement officer, AND their families, fighting against the drug cartels should be given "safe" housing. These drug cartels KNOW where they all live! What about a gated, guarded 24/7 community just for them?

The only way Mexico is going to be able to stop these cartels is to eliminate its members - shoot to kill and be done with it!

Mexico has never aggressivly gone after them. Also, they need to clean the trash out of their police force and government. Too many kickbacks and police on the cartel payroll. This goes all the way to the top of the governement. The truth be told, drugs are probably one of the top if not the top revenue generating enterprises in Mexico.
