Anti-Defamation League urges tone down immigration debate


WASHINGTON (JTA) -- The Anti-Defamation League asked presidential candidates to refrain from anti-immigration rhetoric.

The anti-bias group sent a letter to the major party presidential candidates requesting that they refrain from using language that demonizes and dehumanizes minorities, particularly Hispanics.

The ADL also sent the candidates a summary of its recent report, “Immigrants Targeted,â€

Stuff it ADL!! the anti-American group of the century along with the ACLU...

This is Americans speaking and you will not shut us up!! Not while we still have the constitution and the first amendment!!

This is why we need Tancredo and Dobbs to keep on truckin.

I guess as long as there are people that make an income on keeping the hate/anti-hate machine alive....

Did it not occur to them that people are really so upset, because, well, they're really PO'd about the situation (as in, it has affected people personally - and often, in a very bad way)???? And, as many of our long-time posters here realize, we have people here that have lost family members, jobs, property, etc, etc. to illegal aliens! Conversely, if they weren't upset, there would be something seriously wrong!!!

Since they are largely insulated from the affects of large scale illegal immigration, as well as, mass [ostensibly] legal immigration and are profiting from the situation, it is no surprise that an organization such as the ADL should make such a public statement.

ADL, ACLU, Black Panthers what else WHO cares ?

Is Alipac turning into a site with the lack of informative educative posts, are we turn to
garbage ?

We don't need to post just to post , we have to continue to be the great site Alipac has always been .

The ADL is specifically attacking candidates and voters in the Republican party because the Democrats would never call them illegal aliens or speak the truth about their illegal behavior. Yea, that's "demonizes and dehumanizes".

Minnie, these groups need to be exposed every chance we get...this stuff helps wake up Americans, as they see these people (groups) trying to take away their constitutional rights by shutting them up, it helps to inform them just who their enemies are,

We stilll have alot of people to educate!

So I guess, the lesson we can take away from the ADL example, is that they are singularly focused on PC (political correctness) and have a strong aversion to dealing with truth? (eg. if language is more important than facts, details, consequences... geez, what does that say???)

Hi Pherd, nice to see you posting again...love your common sense and truthful approach to matters at hand in alipac!

It says they are in with LaRaza, MECHA, LULAC etc., etc., etc.,...none of who believes in truth! Yes PC is to cover the truth!
