Arizona State University Providing $12K Scholarships To Ille

Phoenix -- Arizona State University is providing as many as 200 illegal aliens with scholarships this semester to help them pay for higher out-of-state tuition, according to the KVOA News 4.

The total money paid out by the college is about $1.8 million, and comes from private funds donated to the university.

Each scholarship is about $12,000. This is the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition, which Arizona illegals are required to pay because of a new law passed the the state legislature.

Some see this as a way for the college to circumvent the new law.

But, school officials claim that illegals will not take preference over legal students, but the fact that the university already granted 200 such scholarships to illegals means there are 200 less from U.S. citizens.

New poll shows fewer Carolinians support illegals

More Carolinians than ever oppose efforts to allow illegal immigrants to work their way toward citizenship as proposed under the recently defeated Congressional Immigration Reform Bill, according to a new poll conducted by the Charlotte Observer and WCNC.

If any school wants to provide aid to illegals, they should aid the illegals to go home and pay for tuition there. This is just another example of aiding and abetting illegals. The federal government needs to stop this. this is also discrimination against legal citizens.

The school's alumni must make their opinion heard ( perhaps they have ? ). If they oppose this use of private funds, they should call and state they will no longer donate to the university.
